Antique Crossbow

Description

This very old European Crossbow is in excellent condition!
During medieval times, it was the weapon of choice since it didn't  require
long years of practice by the archer to gain proficiency, as was the case with the traditional longbow. The authentic leather
pouche
included in the display was used by the French armies to send military messages to- and from the battlefield. The dozen bolts (arrows) are in excellent, usable condition, and worth a fortune by themselves. This fairly large display is very striking and perfect for a museum-,
living room-, den-, office-, or mantle wall.
